Native Serving Platter - Golf Themed

A bit of a special project this one. Golf equipment from the Manawatu Golf Club that I chopped and positioned into a long grain serving platter out of native Rimu.
This I present as a "Serving Platter" because the long grain running along the board can mark if cut on it. This is less resilient than the end grain boards that can be cut on eg. a Butchers Block. So I suggest cheese and salami, for example, are cut and presented on the board.
Platter size is approx. 500mm long x 250mm wide and 45mm high. It is waxed and has hand holds at each end.
